A new video from the federal government shows travellers exactly what to expect if they’re arriving in the country via air and it includes COVID-19 tests, a hotel quarantine stay and lots of document-checking!

The clip, which was shared by Health Canada, follows two “travellers” from the moment they arrive in the Canadian airport right through until their mandatory hotel quarantine stay.

It explains what is likely to happen upon arrival and shows exactly how the new process works in relation to Canada’s latest travel restrictions.

International borders remain closed to non-essential travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with Justin Trudeau also urging Canadians to cancel any upcoming vacations both domestically and internationally.
