The Alabama Crimson Tide rolled over Ohio State to win the national championship Monday night, but rowdy fans in Tuscaloosa, Alabama may have forgotten about the pandemic when they decided to celebrate.

A video was released showing hundreds of fans in the school's town of Tuscaloosa celebrating shoulder to shoulder, defying COVID-19 regulations and potentially spreading the virus.

It's hard to tell if anyone is wearing a mask, but it is safe to say that social-distancing is not in play at the celebration.

Those on Twitter were quick to make jokes, calling Alabama winners of the "COVID national championship."

Some even changed the school's chant, "Roll Tide," to be a little more fitting for the situation in Tuscaloosa.

It is not known if anyone in the crowd had COVID-19, but the world could find out anytime in the two weeks, as those who may have been exposed could start showing symptoms.
