Over 40 Recent Alberta Flights Have Reported COVID-19 Cases In Just 8 Days

There have been over 40 Alberta flights with COVID-19 reported over the span of just eight days. 

The flights either arrived at or departed from one of the province's airports in Calgary or Edmonton

The Government of Canada has provided the details for the dozens of flights and advises anyone on the flights or in the specified rows to self-monitor for symptoms for two weeks and isolate immediately if symptoms arise.

November 25 to December 2 Dates of COVID-19 cases on flights

The domestic flights listed between those dates are as follows: 

December: 

  • AC241, Edmonton to Vancouver, December 2. Rows 20 to 26
  • AC163, Toronto to Edmonton, December 2. Rows 19 to 25
  • AC351, Ottawa to Calgary, December 1. Rows 13 to 19
  • AC8138, Calgary to Edmonton, December 1. Rows 7 to 13
  • WS3171, Calgary to Comox, December 1. Rows 16 to 19
  • WS141, Edmonton to Vancouver, December 1. Rows 34 to 40

November:

  • WS147, Winnipeg to Edmonton, November 30. Rows 1 to 7
  • WS662, Calgary to Toronto, November 29. Rows 21 to 27
  • WS3229, Calgary to Edmonton, November 29. Rows 1 to 7
  • WR3210, Comox to Calgary, November 29. Rows 7 to 13
  • AC318, Calgary to Montreal, November 28. Rows 31 to 38
  • AC144, Calgary to Toronto, November 28. Rows 24 to 30
  • AC8372, Fort McMurray to Calgary, November 28. Rows 1 to 7

In addition, there were 17 international flights that came through one of the Albertan airports. 

The international flights with COVID-19 cases that landed in Alberta were from locations including L.A., Cancun, Palm Springs, and more.
