Moviegoers will have to make alternative plans if they thought they were heading to AMC Theatres early next month.
The movie theater giant has put the breaks on reopening locations throughout the country, including Florida theaters, amid the current COVID-19 pandemic.
While the chain was originally supposed to reopen its venues on July 15, AMC pushed back their plans due to the delay of two huge box-office films.

AMC is now targeting July 30 to reopen 450 movie theaters around the country, with the remaining 150 pulling their curtains up a week later.
The chain, along with other major movie theater chains, has been shuttered since March due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
