A new ranking from the U.S. News & World Report has revealed the world's best countries for women and Canada has landed in fourth place. 

The list was generated by ranking attributes including human rights, gender equality, income equality, progress, and safety.

The top 10 list goes as follows: 

  • Sweden
  • Denmark
  • Norway
  • Canada
  • Netherlands
  • Finland
  • Switzerland
  • New Zealand 
  • Germany 
  • Australia 

According to the report, 8,048 women were surveyed in the ranking process. 

While Canada may have received fourth place for women, it did receive an overall award of World's Best Country of 2021.
