If you're looking to make a career move this year, there's a new ranking of the best jobs in Canada for 2024.

Not only do these positions have remote or hybrid work arrangements but the jobs are also high-paying.

Indeed recently put out a ranking of Canada's Top 10 Best Jobs of 2024 to "help job seekers find better jobs" this year.

To be included in this list, a job needed to offer more than the Canadian median salary of $63,200 a year and have at least 10% of postings with remote or hybrid.

Also, Indeed required the positions to have "opportunity growth" which is the availability of the role based on its share of job postings.

Senior tax manager tops the list of Canada's best jobs in 2024 with a typical salary of $139,063 and 15% of job listings allowing remote work.

Then, child protection practitioner — $77,034 a year on average and 11% of job listings allowing remote work — is the next best position for this year.

Governance manager jobs with a $97,469 salary, senior electrical engineer positions with a $110,000 yearly salary and associate dean jobs with a $114,281 salary made the top five.

According to Indeed, structural engineer is one of the best jobs to have for 2024 in Canada not just because of the high annual pay but also because of remote work.

Those positions have a typical salary of $93,755 a year and 23% of job postings offer remote work or hybrid arrangments.

Senior project coordinator and project engineer jobs made the ranking and have salaries of $81,224 and $91,153 a year respectively.

Also, project engineer is the position on Indeed's list with the most number of job postings per one million total jobs!

Librarian jobs still made the ranking even though the pay — $75,360 — isn't as high as others because of the growth in job postings and 11% of positions offering remote or hybrid work.

Then, accounting supervisor finishes off the top 10 best jobs in Canada for 2024 with a salary of $79,594.

If you're still looking for inspiration with your next career move, Randstad revealed the highest-paying jobs in Canada for 2024.
