Ontario is home to some stunning beaches, from rocky coves to dreamy, tropical-like escapes. This lakeside destination is the "most luxurious white sand beach" in the province, and it's a road trip from Toronto.

With an endless stretch of velvety sand, cute beach town vibes and sparkling waves, it's a beautiful spot for a summer escape.

Sauble Beach is a heavenly gem located along the shores of Lake Huron.

According to Destination Ontario, it's "perhaps the most luxurious white sand beach" in the province and "is one of Ontario's most highly sought-after beach destinations."

With over 10 kilometres of powdery shores and warm, shallow waters, it feels like "an island getaway."

Once you've enjoyed some time on the beach and snapped a photo by the iconic Sauble archway, you can explore the quaint lakeside town, which is dotted with ice cream parlours, beachy shops and more.

When it comes to dining, you can find retro California vibes at Heydays Restaurant in the June Motel. Or, enjoy a taste of Mexico at the Casero Taco Bus.

You can check out attractions like the Sauble Speedway, Ascent Aerial Park, and Giggles Arcade, or take a trip to the Sauble Sand Dunes.

In August, the town hosts an annual Sandfest, where you can enjoy live entertainment and giant sand sculptures.

With its stunning shoreline, warm waters and quaint beach town, Sauble Beach is the place to go for an incredible summer escape.
