You can spend a weekend strolling along the waterfront, exploring the quaint stone shops and even swimming in a sparkling natural pool.
St. Mary's is a quaint little town perched along the Thames River. It's known as "The Stonetown" due to its historic limestone buildings that line its streets.
You'll feel like you've been swept away to a little European village as you stroll through charming local shops and indulge in treats at the cozy cafes.
The town is surrounded by scenic trails and parks where you can enjoy some fresh air and stretch your legs. There are over 25 kilometres of natural space to explore, such as the Loop Trail and Riverview Walkway.
Another highlight of the town is its quarry. Known as "Canada's largest outdoor freshwater swimming pool," the former limestone quarry is a dreamy spot to take a dip on a hot summer day and even has a floating water park.
