‘Cakesicles' Are the New Cake Pops In Calgary & You Can Get 4 For $15
Eating cake with a fork is a thing of the past. There is an adorable little cake shop in Calgary that has “cakesicles” that are basically the 2020 version of cake pops. The shop, 8 Cakes, has them right now and you can get yourself four of them for $15.

8 Cakes in Calgary is a small boutique bakery that has been in operation for just shy of three years. If you have yet to try it, you’re missing out.
Owned by Sirine Berrached, it's a one-woman show and she's totally killing the game with tasty treats. We chatted with Berrached to learn more about her creations.
One of her yummiest and most Instagrammable treats yet are her cakesicles. Picture a piece of cake in the shape of a popsicle.
The treats come in tons of flavours including unicorn confetti, mango strawberry shortcake, early grey vanilla, Oreo, lemon raspberry, and Boston cream.
The earl grey vanilla flavour is decorated like a little polar bear and the unicorn flavour is decorated like — you guessed it — a unicorn.
Don't worry, all the other flavours are decorated just as cute and they look seriously decadent.
At any given time, there will be four flavours rotating.
Some of the flavours, including Boston cream and Oreo, are vegan, so cake lovers of all kinds can give them a try.
It was important for Berrached to include vegan options as she says 50% of her customers have some type of dietary restrictions, she told Narcity.
Berrached also said that a new vegan and gluten-free option will be available soon that will include a cookie dough filling with dark chocolate on top.
If you’re looking for a full-sized cake, Berrached has those too. You can even customize them.
She also does cookie sandwiches and keto-friendly cake bites.
A box of four cakesicles will cost you $15. All of the cakesicles can be purchased online or in-store.
If you’re in the mood for a treat but don’t want to indulge in an entire box, you can pay $3.75 for one.
From Tuesday to Thursday it's pick-up only but over the weekends the store is open and ready for your business.
