People Keep Busting Their Jaws Riding E-Scooters In Calgary This Summer

The surgeon keeps seeing the same injury!

While this summer may be a little different, one thing remains the same: Calgarians are still crashing e-scooters. 

Paul Fox is speaking out after a Calgary e-scooter crash that left his girlfriend with a broken jaw. Oddly enough, he told CBC News that the surgeon told him that his girlfriend's injury wasn't at all unique.

It's been the same mechanics of the injury. All jaw injuries … within the last week.

Apparently the surgeon had seen six very similar jaw injuries from e-scooters in just a couple of days. 

Last year — the first year that e-scooters were introduced to the City of Calgary — brought an endless stream of injuries, as well. 

Apparently the main factor in e-scooter-related injuries is speed, so be careful out there, folks.
