If you're one of the many Canadians working remotely during the pandemic, this is your chance to trade your home office for a white sand beach.

Curaçao is encouraging remote workers of all nationalities to relocate to the Dutch Caribbean island's dreamy jungles and pristine shorelines and has even extended its visa to allow you to stay for up to six months.

To be eligible for the At Home In Curaçao program, your employment status has to fall under one of the following categories: a contract-bound employee of a company, a freelancer or consultant or conducting business for a company as a partner or shareholder.

Before you jet off to your new tropical office, you must meet the requirements of the application, pay a CAD$370.74 fee, have a return flight booked and test negative for COVID-19 72 hours prior to departure.

The application takes approximately two weeks to process. Then, you can consult the program's website for resources on where to stay and start counting down the days to paradise.
