The Border Services Officer Trainee salary is $78,769 to $87,708.

After at least twelve months and completion of the development program, trainees are recommended for promotion to Border Services Officer and the annual salary is $85,211 to $101,058.

You can apply if you live in Canada, are a Canadian citizen living abroad, or are a permanent resident living abroad.

You must have a secondary school diploma or a satisfactory score on the Public Service Commission test approved as an alternative to a secondary school diploma.

Also, you need to know English or be bilingual in English and French for this government of Canada job.

If you're selected, you must complete the Officer Induction Training Program and the Officer Induction Development Program before becoming a Border Services Officer.
