Drake, Ryan Reynolds & More Canadians Are Mourning The Loss Of Chadwick Boseman
Following the news that Chadwick Boseman had died, Canadians have been taking to social media to mourn him.
Drake, Ryan Reynolds and others are paying tribute to the actor, director, writer and producer.
On August 28, it was confirmed in a statement posted to Boseman's social media that he had passed away after a four-year-battle with colon cancer.
He died at home with his wife and his family by his side.
Boseman was 43 years old.

Immediately people all over the world, including many Canadians, were mourning the loss of the Black Panther actor.
Canadian celebrities took to social media to share their disbelief over his death and pay tribute to him and his work.
Reynolds tweeted about the fellow Marvel actor's passing and said that it's "such a brutal loss. RIP, Chadwick."
Simu Liu, who is also part of the Marvel family, shared his disbelief on Twitter.
"I have absolutely no words. Rest in power my brother," he said.
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh paid tribute to the star and tweeted, "Wakanda Forever! ✊🏾"
Drake shared a photo of Boseman on his Instagram story accompanied by "🕊🐾😔."
Canadian organizations are also paying tribute to Boseman.
NBA Canada posted on Facebook and called him "a great friend of the NBA family."
The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television said that he was a hero both on and off-screen.
"The impact of his work is tremendous and unforgettable. We grieve with his family, friends, and fans," the organization tweeted.
Marvel Studios Canada tweeted that their hearts are broken over Boseman's death.
"Your legacy will live on forever," they said.
Boseman was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer back in 2016 and it later progressed to stage four.
He worked on films like Black Panther, Marshall, Da 5 Bloods and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom while going through surgeries and chemotherapy.
"It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther," the statement posted to his social media said.
