Costco is offering gift cards to shoppers in Canada.

You can get the cost of your membership back or even more than that with these deals!

Whether you have a Costco membership, your membership has expired, or you've never had a membership, you can take advantage of the offers.

The vouchers from these deals get you money off Costco purchases!

So, here's what you need to know about the Costco Canada deals, including who's eligible and how to get the gift cards.

Refer a Friend deal

Costco is offering the Refer a Friend promo in Canada.

To get this deal, you need to bring a friend, family member or someone you know to the Membership Counter at any Costco location in Canada.

When they sign up for a new Costco membership, you have to show the Refer a Friend site to the Membership Clerk.

You will each receive one $50 Costco online voucher if they sign up for an Executive membership or one $25 Costco online voucher if they sign up for a Gold Star membership.

Costco's Executive Membership costs $130 a year (plus applicable taxes), and the Gold Star Membership costs $65 a year (plus applicable taxes).

This offer is available until Sunday, August 31, 2025.

It's only valid if a member brings in someone who's eligible to sign up as a new Costco member.

Someone is eligible if they've never had a Costco membership or if their membership has been expired for 18 months or more.

The $50 voucher can be used on purchases of $200 or more on Costco.ca in one transaction, before taxes, applicable fees and shipping.

The $25 voucher can be redeemed on purchases of $125 or more on Costco.ca in one transaction, before taxes, applicable fees and shipping.

You have until Sunday, September 28, 2025, to use the voucher.

Become a Member deal

Costco is offering this Become a Member deal for a limited time.

If you sign up as an Executive member, you'll get a voucher for $130 off a $250 online Costco purchase.

If you sign up as a Gold Star member, you'll receive a voucher for $65 off a $150 online Costco purchase.

Since the Executive Membership costs $130 per year and the Gold Star Membership costs $65 per year, you get the cost of your membership back!

When paying for your membership online, enter the applicable promo code at checkout — COSTCO130 for the Executive membership and COSTCO65 for the Gold Star membership.

You'll receive an email from Costco with your membership number.

Then, you have to go to the Membership Counter at a Costco location in Canada and show that email to get a membership card.

After that, you'll get an email within two to four business days with the online voucher.

This offer is for new members and anyone whose membership has been expired for 18 months or more.

If you want to get the deal, it's only available until Sunday, August 31, 2025.

You can use the online voucher code on a single transaction of more than $150 or $250 (depending on your membership) before taxes, applicable fees and shipping.

The deadline to use the voucher is Sunday, September 28, 2025.

We asked if a Costco membership is worth paying for and shoppers were pretty divided

"We have it and my husband won't give it up. I hate that I have to pay to buy groceries." 👀
