Costco has a deal that gets you the cost of your membership back.

If you want $130 or $65 from the wholesale retailer, you have to get your membership in a certain way.

This membership offer is available through Costco Canada for both Executive and Gold Star memberships.

When you sign up as an Executive member online, you'll get a voucher for $130 off a $250 purchase on Costco.ca.

When you sign up as a Gold Star member online, you'll receive a voucher for $65 off a $150 purchase on Costco.ca.

Since an Executive membership costs $130 per year, and a Gold Star Membership costs $65 per year, you get the full cost of your membership back as a gift card.

If you want to get this deal, you have to buy a membership on Costco.ca and enter a promo code — COSTCO130 for the Executive membership or COSTCO65 for the Gold Star membership — at checkout.

You'll receive an email from Costco that will include your membership number. Then, you have to go to the membership counter at any Costco location in Canada and show the clerk that email to get your membership card.

After that, you'll get an email within two to four business days with the online voucher that you can use for an online Costco purchase.

This deal is only available on Costco.ca until April 12, 2026. Then, the online voucher is valid until May 10, 2026.

You're eligible if you've never had a Costco membership before or if you used to have a membership, but it has expired for at least 18 months.

The online voucher for Executive members must be used in a single transaction that's more than $250, before taxes, applicable fees and shipping.

The online voucher for Gold Star members must be used in a single transaction that's over $150, before taxes, applicable fees and shipping.

You can only use the voucher online. It's not valid at Costco warehouses in Canada.
