Costco offers a lot of perks to members, including cheaper prices, cash-back rewards, and more to save shoppers money.

But you might not know that can also get travel perks with the wholesale retailer through Costco Travel.

There are deals and discounts available for Canadian members and even Kirkland Signature extras — that's right, Kirkland isn't just for warehouse products.

If you don't know, Costco Travel is available exclusively to Costco members in Canada and you could be missing out on savings.

It offers trips and vacation packages to destinations around the world that include hotels, cruises, flights, theme parks and other travel products like rental cars.

Destinations in Canada are Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Whistler and U.S. destinations are Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Louisiana, New York and Texas.

You can travel internationally with Costco vacations to the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, South America, and more.

While Costco Travel isn't exactly a travel agency, it's staffed by Costco employees who are trained travel professionals so you can get expert advice when planning and booking vacations.

Those employees negotiate the best value for travel and pass savings on to members.

Since Costco Travel is only available to Costco members, you need to have an Executive membership, a Gold Star membership or a Business membership to book trips.

Not only do Executive members get extra perks when shopping at Costco locations in Canada and online but there are also bonuses with travel.

Executive members who book through Costco Travel get a 2% reward — up to $1,000 — after the trip is completed.

Also, shoppers with an Executive membership get special extras on select vacations!

Costco Travel even has Kirkland Signature deals that have "exceptional prices" and "value-added extras" including Costco Shop Cards, on-ship credits for cruises, specialty dining experiences, spa experiences and more.

You can plan your own vacation through Costco Travel or book a pre-planned vacation package whether you want an all-inclusive resort or cruise, a hotel and flight bundle, or just a deal on a hotel.
