Movie theaters have been allowed to reopen their doors since Greg Abbott's order from early May, though many preferred to keep their doors closed until a later date. Texas-based Cinemark have announced that they will be slowly welcoming visitors starting mid-June and will be fully back up and operational by July with new deals.

Cinemark closed its U.S. locations back on March 17, during the beginning of the spread of COVID-19 in the states.

More than three months later, the movie-going giant will be greeting customers with a four-phase reopening that will begin on June 19, as revealed by Cinemark's CEO Mark Zoradi on a morning analyst call.

The first round of reopenings will include only five theaters, all located in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Every week after, more locations will reopen across the state and in its larger markets. By July 10, the theaters will be 100% opened and ready for visitors.

During the initial limited opening, the theaters will be playing classic Hollywood films with incredibly cheap movie ticket prices. For just $5, you can see a famous old-school movie in the comfort of a giant room.

Get ready to stuff your face with the mouthwatering popcorn and other concessions that you've been craving since March.

There will be new social distancing and safety measures in place, so the watching experience might look a bit different from how you remember it.

Tickets will be purchased online, with visitors using scannable passes on their phones rather than on-site printed tickets.

Plexiglass will be set up to distance customers from employees, who will be wearing masks. Cinemark shared that customers are also highly encouraged to wear masks, but are not required.

Cinemark’s first major theatrical release is planned to be the new movie Tenet, by Christopher Nolan, on July 17.

If you're ready to head to a theater near you, you won't have to wait too much longer.
