Derek Chauvin Has Been Found Guilty In The George Floyd Murder Trial

He's been found guilty on all counts.

On Tuesday, April 20, a verdict was reached in the trial of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd in 2020.    

The judge announced that the jury found Derek Chauvin guilty on all charges including second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter.

The judge noted that sentencing will be put forth eight weeks from now. 

The trial took place in Minneapolis and Derek Chauvin is now in police custody, according to the judge. 

During the verdict announcement, US National News reported that massive crowds had gathered outside of the premises and surrounding businesses had boarded up their windows.
