20 Days  Length of Trump's first impeachment trial

Through the power of Youtube, plenty of major news outlets including NBC and USA Today are live streaming the highly anticipated event.

Other major outlets such as The New York Times and C-SPAN are also streaming the event live and for free on their website.

Those looking to watch the impeachment on the slightly bigger screen can find live cable coverage on the Fox News Channel, MSNBC, ABC News, PBS Newshour, and NBC news.

Wednesday will be just the first day of what could end up being a lengthy trial.

The Democratic-controlled House of Representatives is expected to vote to impeach President Donald Trump, but that doesn't end things.

If the vote goes through, the trial is then sent to the Senate, where a 2/3 vote will be required to remove Trump from office.

If Trump is removed from office, the Senate can then move to vote on if he should be disqualified from running for President again, which he has hinted at in recent weeks.
