A Duct Taped DIY 'PS5' Is Making The Rounds On Canada's Facebook Marketplace

It's a steal of a deal, right? 😂
Contributor

It's been a hectic few days since the release of the PlayStation 5 on November 12. In fact, people are so excited that duct taped "PS5s" are showing up online!

So far we have seen an NBA star pleading for the real thing, Canada Post getting praise for delivering it and the police putting out a public safety alert on console theft.

But let's keep the party going, because now a hilarious photo of the console is making the rounds on Canada's Facebook Marketplace.

Editor's Choice: Ontario Will Apparently Get Enough Vaccines For 15% Of The Population By March

A photo that keeps reappearing online shows a PlayStation2 stuck to a Playstation3, with what appears to be grey scotch tape.

Some Facebook sellers are using this photo and saying it's a "PlayStation5," or their version of it anyway!

They've been spotted across Canada, including in provinces like Newfoundland and Labrador, and cities like Toronto.

So if you can't get your hands on the PS5 in time for the holidays, you can always opt for a PS2 and PS3 combo to make up for it!

I mean two consoles could be better than one, right?
