Dr. Deena Hinshaw updated the public on the current state of COVID-19 on Monday, September 21. While she did report over 350 new cases in the province, she said that Alberta's gathering limits won't be tightened.

Meanwhile, Ontario has reduced its gathering limits to 10 people inside and 25 outside.

As of now, the gathering limit in our province remains at 50 people inside and 100 outside, according to the Government of Alberta.

Alberta's top doctor explained that officials want to keep the province open to activities that support general health.

Hinshaw also took the opportunity to remind Albertans that family cohorts should stay within the same 15 people at all times.
