If you know hockey, you know Connor McDavid

The Edmonton Oilers' star boy is a serious force to be reckoned with and serves as the captain of his team.

On October 5, the team announced that McDavid had tested positive for COVID-19. "He is feeling well and is experiencing mild symptoms," the message said.

He’s feeling well, fully recovered. He’s taking all the precautions, of course.

Oilers senior vice president Tim Shipton

Tim Shipton sent a statement to CTV News, saying that the player has gone into two-weeks of isolation for the safety of himself and his loved ones.

Now, after a short period, the athlete is back in action and completely recovered.

McDavid wears number 97 and is a total fan-favourite.

He's beloved to the Oilers and their fanbase and received an outpouring of love and support when news of his COVID-19 diagnosis surfaced.

Looks like those good vibes did the trick.
