As the school year is about to begin, COVID-19 testing in Alberta has become so mainstream that you can now get it done while grabbing groceries.

In a release on Tuesday, August 18, the province announced that they were expanding testing and Albertans without any symptoms of novel coronavirus can now book COVID-19 tests at Shoppers Drug Mart and other Loblaws pharmacies.

You should only do this test if you have no symptoms — if you're symptomatic, book your test through Alberta Health Services.
