A Vancouver-based company called SCRAP-IT is coming for your dirty, old vehicles. 

According to the SCRAP-IT's Alberta program, you'll be able to claim a rebate of $300 after scrapping your car.

How it works is that you need to apply for the program and wait to get approved, according to the company's FAQ page

Within 30 days of approval, you need to drive or tow your old vehicle to a Pick-N-Pull location. It's up to you whether you want to claim your rebate first or scrap your car first. 

Your rebate can then go towards purchasing a greener, more sustainable option.
