The new mask bylaw comes into action

According to Global News, masks don't have to be worn in a designated dine-out space or if you're eating or drinking as part of a religious ceremony.

Exceptions have also been made for people exercising or doing water activities.

Plus, businesses will not be forced to mandate the bylaw. The fine for not wearing a mask is set at $100 but at this point, the city is prioritizing education over enforcement.
