In a recent press release, Airbnb released its 2025 spring travel trends for Canadians, showcasing all sorts of destinations, from overseas trips to local escapes.

This Ontario town was named among the top trending domestic destinations for Canadians this season, and it looks like a postcard come to life.

Elora is an enchanting small town located just over an hour from Toronto. According to the website, it's known as "Ontario's most beautiful village" and offers stunning views of the scenic Grand River.

The streets are lined with limestone buildings that belong in a European village, and you'll find all sorts of unique treasures in the local shops.

You can relax with a treat and coffee at one of the cute cafes, such as The Lost and Found Cafe and Cafe Crêperie Of Elora.

If you're in the mood for some pampering, the Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is the place to be. You can enjoy various services, a rooftop spa, and delicious meals at the restaurant.

In May, you can visit the Elora Gorge Conservation Area. The destination features beautiful hiking trails that take you past 22-metre cliffs and rushing rapids.
