Are you strapped for cash and also happen to have a very particular set of skills? Are you a master of jiu-jitsu, a fan of vinyl, or a dog-lover? If so, then this Vancouver commercial casting call is perfect for you.

Jigsaw Casting is looking for actors of all ages to fill some very specific shoes this fall. Their casting directors are seeking out groups of 3-5 people who live or socialize together. The commercial will be part of a campaign for Nissan Rogue and will be filming the week of Sunday, August 23 to Saturday, August 29

At least one person from the group must have a driver's license, they wrote.

"We are looking for a broad range of ethnicities, culture, ages, sexual orientations and hobbies," according to a Facebook post from Jigsaw Casting

The deadline for application is Friday, July 10 at 9 a.m. and you can apply online.

Most of the oddly specific roles are for people between 25 and 55 years old.

These include "cool and hip" knitting enthusiasts, yoga fans who also love cuddling with pooches, and "dark sky people" — fans of the night sky who love carrying around telescopes to check how their favourite space bodies are getting along.

Other, more intense roles include people into cave exploring, scuba diving, and the martial arts.

They're also looking for music fans who love listening to vinyl. This group should be a bit older, ranging from 45 to 55.

If you and your group get selected, you'll be paid $2,000 per person. No previous acting experience is required, though you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to apply.

To apply, simply submit in a three-minute-long tape of you and your group answering the following prompts:

  1. Introduce yourselves.
  2. Each tell us a bit about yourself.
  3. Before lockdown, what did you and your friends or family regularly get up to?
  4. Do you play team sports? Any clubs you’re a part of? Interest groups?
  5. You’ve got a long weekend ahead, what did you plan?

Finally, for the next 30 seconds, pretend you're all sitting in a car with the license-carrier as the driver. Show them how you all interact when going on a trip.

No matter who you are, getting paid good money to cuddle with dogs is always a good deal.
