Air Canada Is Accused Of Using Influencers To Promote Travel Deals During COVID-19
Trudeau recently urged Canadians not to travel abroad.
According to new reports,has been working with social media influencers to promote travel deals during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tiffany Lai, a Montreal-based Instagrammer, wrote in one post: “I’ve partnered up with @aircanadavacations and @dreamsresort to show a safe and cautious way of travelling for 2021.”
Jennifer Fast, an Alberta-based Instagrammer, has also recently shared similar posts.
This comes despite repeated warnings from the Canadian government that non-essential travelright now.
Speaking on January 5, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada’s travel rulesand confirmed that nobody should be taking international vacations right now.
