There was also a double whammy Canadian April Fool's Day joke with Roots posting about an individual Timbit holder and a bag that looks like a box of Timbits.
Justin Trudeau had some fun of his own and posted on his Instagram story that he read comments about his beard and shaved it off. He later shared that he still has the beloved beard.
Kraft Dinner posted that they were releasing an essential oil kit that smells like KD but Narcity Quebec confirmed it was just a joke.
Pizza Pizza even joked that they now have chicken-flavoured popcorn in the shape of chicken wings.
Tim Hortons made up for disappointing people with a joke about huge Timbits a few weeks earlier by doing a reverse April Fool's Day and giving out the massive treats.
