Canada Has Ranked #1 In The World For Best Quality Of Life

You might already know that Canada is an awesome place to live. But it seems as though the rest of the world agrees as well.

Earlier this year, Canada was ranked the second best country in the world, which is already pretty amazing. Now, for the fifth consecutive year, Canada has ranked #1 in the world for the best quality of life in 2020. 

U.S. News surveyed 20,000 global citizens and asked them to judge 73 different countries on 75 different attributes in order to come up with the ranking.

The quality of life index was judged based on the following attributes:

  • Job market
  • Affordability
  • Economic stability
  • Family-friendliness
  • Income equality
  • Politically stability
  • Safety
  • Education system 
  • Health care system

Here are the top 10 countries in the world with the highest quality of life:

  1. Canada
  2. Denmark
  3. Sweden
  4. Norway
  5. Australia
  6. Netherlands 
  7. Switzerland
  8. New Zealand
  9. Finland 
  10. Germany
