An Alberta Church Just Got Forcibly Shut Down After Months Of Breaking COVID-19 Rules
In Alberta, GraceLife Church has been closed after the province's health authority stepped in and shut it down because of months of not following COVID-19 restrictions.
On April 7, Alberta Health Services "physically closed" the church and has stopped access to the building until the place of worship can show it will comply with the rules in place.

Alberta Health Services said it has been trying "for several months" to work with the church to address public health concerns there.
Between July 10, 2020, and April 6, 2021, the health authority got 105 complaints from the public about GraceLife Church and violations were spotted at each of the 18 inspections done since last summer.
This closure comes as the province is moving back into Step 1 of its reopening plan which puts restrictions on gyms, restaurants, retailers and more.
