We've never been so invested in watching two people play video games.

Two of North America's hippest politicians are going head-to-head and live-streaming video games together on Friday at 7 p.m. EST.

Jagmeet Singh, the leader of Canada's NDP Party, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a United States Congresswoman, will be performing valuable inter-continental diplomacy work while duelling it out live for the internet to watch.

AOC accepted Jagmeet Singh's invite to play together on Twitter today, who himself accepted the invite from two other prominent streamers, NorthernLion and Hasan Piker.

The two will be playing "Among Us," a popular online multiplayer game featuring spaceship crew members who use the democratic process to vote out the saboteurs in their ranks — an apt game for politicians.

AOC streamed the game herself back in October, as part of an initiative to incentivize people to vote. Over 400,000 people watched her play the game along with special guests like Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

The stream starts at 7 p.m. on Jagmeet Singh's Twitch page, and Singh has set up an RSVP page for people to get notified about the stream's updates.

It's the USA vs. Canada in the ultimate video game showdown between two of the continent's most popular politicians!
