Some heartfelt brotherly love! Justin Trudeau's brother has been honoured many times by the prime minister following his death more than 20 years ago and it's so touching. While he doesn't talk about them often, he has quite a few other siblings as well.\nEditor's Choice: Justin Trudeau Posted A Touching Tribute To His Late Brother For His Birthday\n\nWho was Michel Trudeau?\nMichel is the youngest of Pierre and Margaret Trudeau's three children.\nIn November 1998, he died at the age of 23 while on a skiing trip in B.C.\nAn avalanche swept him into a lake where he then drowned.\nAt the memorial service for Michel, Justin said that he remembered his brother "with a smile on his face and a dangerous mischievous glint in his eye that meant anything could happen and probably would".\nJustin visited Kokanee Lake, where his brother died, with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and their kids in 2013.\nAfter the hike there, he told reporters that every time he goes back to that place he feels close to Michel.\nHe also posted a photo of his family on the mountain overlooking the lake.\nWhile he doesn't talk about this loss very often, Justin has shared heartfelt posts about his brother in recent years.\nOn his birthday this year, the prime minister posted a photo of Michel on social media with a touching message.\n"We think about you every day - we miss you and love you lots," he said.\nBack in 2018, which also marked the 20th year since Michel passed away, Justin paid tribute to his brother by sharing a photo of the two of them.\n\n View this post on Instagram You would have been 43 today, but you’ve been gone 20 years now.
