Per a new report from BBC News, the country became the first to formally give the Pfizer/BioNTech shot the go-ahead on December 2.
Britain’s medicine regulation, the MHRA, confirmed that the vaccine is safe to be rolled out across the country onRight now, 800,000 doses are already on the way.
This means British people could start getting vaccinated by as early as next week.

The first people to be offered the vaccine will be elderly people in care homes, as well as staff-members in similar locations.
People over 80-years-old and healthcare workers will also be high-priority to get the shot early.
The country has already ordered 40 million doses of the vaccine, which is enough for 20 million people.
