Two COVID-19 Cases Linked To Clifton Hill After Labour Day Weekend Crowds
The two individuals are reportedly in their twenties.

Following the busy Labour Day long weekend at Niagara's Clifton Hill, two new COVID-19 cases in Ontario have now been linked to the popular tourist destination.
However, although the cases are connected to the area, it is unknown if the individuals caught it there.
Niagara Region Public Health confirmed this in a statement to Narcity.

There are two cases who have links to Clifton Hill, though this does not mean that this is how they became infected.

Dr. Mustafa Hirji, Niagara’s acting medical officer of health, did not provide comment on whether the two individuals are employees in the Clifton Hill area, or whether they were there for recreation.
Footage of large tourist crowds on the popular strip was shared on YouTube this week.
Overcrowding has been an ongoing issue in the region, which prompted the mayor to deploy ambassadors for social distancing.
