After a tumultuous day at Adamson Barbecue yesterday that saw owner Adam Skelly arrested, it appears that the property is now blocked off.

A barrier has been put up in front of the restaurant, with a trespassing notice hanging from it, as per photos taken by The Toronto Sun.

A Toronto Police spokesperson confirmed on Thursday that the property is now in the hands of Toronto Public Health, and anyone who violates the notice can be charged.

On Thursday, protestors, media and police flooded the Adamson parking lot and adjacent road.

Mounted police blocked off entryways and officers stood shoulder to shoulder, forming a line around the property.

A GoFundMe page that was started to cover legal fees for Adam Skelly, who spent Thursday night in custody, has raised over $150,000 at the time of publication.

Skelly is scheduled to appear in court today for a bail hearing, reports 680 News.
