On Saturday October 17, the municipality of Chartierville was so buried in snow that you’d be forgiven for thinking it was January.
In one video, conditions in the region looked pretty intense, as super-thick snow could be seen covering the trees and ground in somebody’s garden.

While conditions in the area were pretty intense on Saturday, it could be a sign of what's to come for the rest of Canada this winter.
Earlier this year, the Canadian Farmers' Almanac predicted that the country is in for anthis year.
That said, things are going to lookfrom coast-to-coast and the weather is expected to be much better in places like the Maritimes.
