Data was collected from daily activities surveys over several years from all over the world, and released by Our World In Data in December 2020. Canadians apparently don't play when it comes to some good shut-eye too, that's because we sleep for around eight hours and 40 minutes daily. People of the north also reportedly spend about two hours and 20 minutes a day doing housework and shopping. Since the data was collected before the COVID-19 pandemic, they found that Canadians spent about 53 minutes a day seeing friends. We also apparently also spend on average 65 minutes a day eating and drinking, 116 minutes on other leisure and 52 minutes a day on personal care.
