It appears people of the north have been searching the world wide web for items including categories like disposable gloves, bread machines, cough and cold medicines, soups and dried grains and rice, in that order, the report revealed.

Disposable gloves came in at number one and saw a 670% growth.

"With the introduction of increased health and safety measures since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s unsurprising that disposable gloves saw the largest increase," the report stated.

What's more, Canadians are skipping out on items too. It turns out some items have seen a decline in sales since the pandemic.

This includes luggage and suitcases, cameras, men's swimwear, men’s formal wear and bridal clothing.

Additionally, it appears Canadians spend an average of $2,253 shopping online each year. Data also shows that the country in total spends on average $58.8 billion every year.

Per the report, Amazon ranked as the most popular brand people are purchasing from. The eCommerce giant is also reportedly available in 16 countries and sells over 12 million products on their site.
