The Raptor's season has been over for only a few hours and fans are already thinking about the next one. One theory is emerging about who could be joining for the 2020-2021 run. Could a Giannis Antetokounmpo - Raptors deal be in the works?

With Toronto eliminated in a Game 7 against the Boston Celtics, fans are looking ahead to next year and some big moves the team could make regarding free agents.

One big name being thrown around is none other than Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The basketballer is currently with the Milkwaukee Bucks, who were also eliminated from the NBA playoffs. While he doesn't hit free agency until 2021 there have already been ideas circulating that he should come to Toronto.

Fans have taken to Twitter to push the theory even further.

Raptors reporter Sandro tweeted "Good morning Raptor fans. Let the hunt for Giannis begin, do your work Masai."

Another user @cvsportsguy chimed in "The Raptors can still get Giannis, right? That a thing? I’d like that to be a thing."

"What a series. Giannis coming to TO next year?" added Mike Grinnell from Barstool Sports.

Sportnet's Sid Seixeiro even agreed tweeting, "Now go get Giannis."

Others suggested that Giannis and Raptors president Masai Ujiri have a good relationship that could be helpful in getting this deal done.

"In Ujuri we trust. And so does Giannis" said Twitter user @htozak1.

One user @Gyro_22 even went as far as to suggest that Giannis already sees the Raptors as his family.

"Giannis considers Masai family, Masai helped immigrate from Nigeria to Greece & got him a citizenship so he could play in the NBA, Nick Nurse coached him during the all-star game, he picked both Kyle Lowry & Pascal Siakam for his all-star team. Giannis is gonna be a raptors," they said.

What does the Bucks player have to say about it all though?

After being asked about a potential move, Antetokounmpo told Yahoo Sports "It’s not happening. That’s not happening."

"Some see a wall and go in [another direction]. I plow through it. We just have to get better as a team, individually and get right back at it next season," he said.

You never know though, anything can happen!
