If you're thinking about booking a cottage this summer, you might want to start making your plans. \nOne Ontario cottage rental company claims that they are nearly booked for the 2021 summer season. \nEditor's Choice: A GTA Region Is Hiring 100 People To Help Out At Vaccine Clinics & You Can Make $24/Hr\n\n\n\n“\n\n\nWe are already booked out at 90+% of all available summer weeks.\n\n\nCraig White, COO\n\n\nCottageLINK Rental Management, a website that lets you book vacation homes across the province, has revealed to Narcity that they are already fully booked 90% of the summer. \nAccording to a statement, this has become the busiest early-booking year ever for the company. \n"A combination of cabin fever and optimism have fuelled what has become the busiest early-booking season we have ever seen - by a huge margin," Craig White, COO, stated to Narcity. \n"After many people were shut out of rentals last summer due to high demand, we believe a lot of what we are seeing now is people not wanting to miss out on 2021 as well." \nWith a shortage of cottages already becoming an issue, the company states that they are also working towards bringing new properties to their site. \n\nWhite states that it isn't just this summer that has been busy. \nThis past summer, autumn and winter also saw an influx of customers compared to previous years. \n"Demand continued through the Autumn, even in the traditionally slow month of November, which saw an increase of over 500% from previous years," he concluded.
