President Donald Trump's social media accounts have now been banned from Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook following riots on Capitol Hill.

The social media platform known as Parler, which has been mostly used by conservatives, was even shut down after continued posts sought to "incite ongoing violence," causing many Trump supporters to hop on other apps.

Editor's Choice: People Are Calling For Trump To Be Banned From Yet Another Social Media

New users on Gab

One of the new platforms, known simply as "Gab," reportedly added over 600,000 new users in just one weekend.

Gab claims to be a "champion of free speech, individual liberty, and the free flow of information," which is very similar to Parler's mission.

Another social media platform conservatives are using is MeWe, which has a goal of "uplifting next-gen social network with awesome social features and No BS. No Ads, No Targeting, No Newsfeed manipulation."

MeWe has reportedly added nearly 400,000 new users every day since Saturday.

Some other existing platforms have also been seeing a rapid increase in their user bases ever since Trump was removed from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Apps such as CloutHub, Telegram, and Rumble have all seen a steep increase in new users in weeks.

CloutHub, which was created specifically for Social, Civic, and Political Networking, has particularly seen a huge increase in people joining the platform, as its user base shot up by 472%.
