Two Florida universities have become COVID-19 hot spots.
The University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and the University of South Florida all made the top 10 campuses with the most COVID-19 cases.
FL Universities in Top 10
UF has been the hardest hit of the three, registering over 200 cases among staff and students since the start of June. The University of South Florida has reported over 175 cases.
All three schools are still planning to reopen next month, but there will be flexibility within the plans.
While they'll adopt a "hybrid" model of in-person and virtual learning, students who head back to campus must follow strict guidelines to mitigate the spread.
