Location: Various cities in B.C., Alberta, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador

Who Should Apply: You must have successfully completed a nurse practitioner program with a specialty certificate in either Nurse Practitioner – Adult (NP-Adult) or Nurse Practitioner – Primary Health Care (NP-PHC).

Also, you must be eligible for registration as a Nurse Practitioner — NP, RN (EC), RN (NP), or RN (EP) — in the province or territory where the job is located.

You need experience in:

  • a community or clinical setting as a nurse practitioner
  • ambulatory care, acute care or community health care
  • adult education and health promotion
  • accessing professional literature to provide current, evidence-based care

Knowledge in assessing, diagnosing, treating and managing a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions as a nurse practitioner is required as well.

You also must be willing and able to:

  • work overtime occasionally
  • travel on short notice as required
  • work flexible hours

You need certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation-Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

It's required that you're able to:
