It's almost time for the 2024 JUNO Awards, meaning numerous big-name celebrities will be heading to Canada's East Coast.

The awards show is taking place in Halifax at the Scotiabank Centre on Sunday, March 24 and many famous faces will be in the city all weekend.

The JUNOS recognizes achievements in Canada's music industry and aside from awards being handed out, several Canadian musicians will also perform at the show.

Here's everything you need to know about which stars will be at the JUNOS on Sunday.

Nelly Furtado

"I'm Like A Bird" singer Nelly Furtado is hosting the 2024 JUNO Awards.

During a Toronto nominations event in February, Furtado told Halifax to "get ready to party."

"We're just gonna have a bunch of fun. I think the theme this year is about party, dance," Furtado told Narcity.

Furtado is not only hosting, she's also performing at the JUNOS.

"I'm opening the show so I'm really focused on my performance and just getting it right, recognizing people want to hear all of my songs so it's almost like a mini-Vegas review in four-and-a-half minutes. Then it's have fun, bring the fashion, bring the glamour."

Furtado is also nominated for Dance Recording of the Year for her track with Dom Dolla called "Eat Your Man."

Elliot Page

Canadian actor and Halifax native Elliot Page will be at the JUNOS to present the 2024 Humanitarian Award to musicians Tegan and Sara.

Tegan and Sara

As mentioned, sisters Tegan and Sara will receive this year's Humanitarian Award for their work as advocates for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Beaches

Toronto rock band The Beaches will also be in Halifax and will be performing at the awards show.

The band spoke with Narcity at the nominations press event in February and they shared how excited they were to be going back to Halifax and which spots they'll be sure to visit.

The Beaches, made up of Jordan Miller, Kylie Miller, Leandra Earl and Eliza Enman-McDaniel, are up for two awards at the 2024 Juno Awards: Group of the Year and Rock Album of the Year.

Charlotte Cardin

Canadian pop, electro and jazz singer from Montreal, Charlotte Cardin, will be in Halifax for the JUNOS.

Cardin leads the nominations with six, including Single of the Year, Artist of the Year, and her album "99 Nights" is up for Pop Album of the Year.

The Canadian musician will also be performing at the awards show.

Aysanabee

Aysanabee is up for three Juno Awards this year, including Songwriter of the Year and Alternative Album of the Year.

The First Nations artist will also be performing and will pay tribute to legendary artists Gordon Lightfoot and Robbie Robertson.

Maestro Fresh Wes

Canadian rapper and singer Maestro Fresh Wes will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame with a special presentation and performance at the JUNOS.

Josh Ross

Rising country star Josh Ross will also be in Halifax on Sunday. Ross is another performer at this year's JUNOS.
