Heaven on earth?

It's heaven on earth apparently. That's because one photographer just captured a striking picture of a halo in the Canadian sky this morning over Alberta.

It looks like a halo.

The angelic shot was taken by Jeff Wallace, an Alberta resident and photographer.

It was quite the catch Jeff Wallace

Wallace took to Twitter to share the imagery and said he snapped the beautiful photo of the weather phenomenon at 7:09 a.m Saturday morning.

Wallace told Narcity that he saw a 22° halo and that he believes was light sourced by the moon, and not the sun.

He also said that although not his first time seeing a halo, it was his first time seeing one caused by the moon while also appearing to have a crown.

"It was quite the catch," he said.

Apparently, halos make an appearance more often than rainbows do and are regularly seen in some parts of the world.

Wallace said that what made this sighting even more special was the three atmospheric optics seen in the photo as well as "the halo crowned by the upper Tangent arc."
