The Houston Zoo has officially embraced the spirit of Christmas with its magical holiday lights event.
Houston Zoo Lights, unlike other light show this year, actually allows you to walk through the zoo rather than drive-thru, making it truly stick out from other events happening this holiday season.
You'll have the chance to interact with Candy the zoo lights zebra, sit on a giant ice throne, and take socially-distanced selfies with the big man himself, Santa Claus.

This year also brings in a magical 4-D forest, where you can see dragons come to life and finally experience "snow" in southern Texas.
Of course, the Zoo has taken multiple precautions in order to make the event pandemic-friendly, including mandatory mask-wearing and strongly encouraged social distancing.
Houston Zoo Lights will run all through the holiday season, giving you plenty of time to get an unforgettable experience.
