It's not even Halloween and yet there are already whispers about Christmas, including some from IKEA Canada.

With the pandemic creating a surge in online retail, Canada Post has pleaded with Canadians to start their shopping early, and it seems the Swedish furniture giant is taking that advice to heart.

They're already getting their holiday collection for 2020 ready, even though everyone else is still firmly in spooky season.

They've even released their gift guide, in case you're thinking about doing any early shopping before you get rid of your jack-o'-lantern.

Along with all of the inspiration for what to get your friends and family, IKEA has some solid options for decorating.

Since this year is more likely to see people spending time at home during the holidays, you might as well dress up your living space with some festive lights and other touches.

Keep in mind, though, that if you do choose to get these decorations ahead of time, it's probably too early to put them up.

IKEA fans who are looking to do less buying and more downsizing this year can also participate in the company's Black Friday sell-back event.
