Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James got a little more than he bargained for in Monday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

One member of the crowd caused quite the scene as she began shouting insults at James, causing the officials to stop the game until the situation was dealt with.

Four courtside fans were asked to leave the arena following the verbal exchange.

The one causing the scene was a woman named Juliana Carlos, who has now been dubbed "Courtside Karen" by James himself.

She later went on her Instagram to explain her side of the story.

James has not responded to her claims, but he does believe alcohol could have played a factor in her outrage according to ESPN. 

"They might have had a couple drinks, maybe," said James. "And they could have probably kept it going during the game, and the game wouldn't have been about the game no more, so I think the referees did what they had to do."
