Mariah Carey Just Announced That It's Christmas In A Mildly Frightening Instagram Video

...And a skeleton helped her do it.
Contributor

Mariah Carey just announced that it's Christmas now in a very weird Instagram video, with the help of a cloaked monster.

In what looked like a slightly haunted house setting, a mildly terrifying-looking monster stared at the camera before opening a door that led to another door.

This second door had things written on it like "Not Yet" and "Enter At Your Own Risk," as well as some seemingly bloody handprints.

It's time! (screams) Mariah Carey

The creature opened the door, and, bam, there was Carey wearing some Christmas pajamas next to a Christmas tree, where she exclaimed, "It's time!" and then screamed.

Going from a creepy monster to a Christmas tree might seem confusing (since Thanksgiving comes in between) but Carey didn't forget that — text was added at the end of the video saying, "But let's get through Thanksgiving first."

Two little dogs were also featured in the video, sitting silently in the "snow" under the Christmas tree.

Carey has been riding out the pandemic in a lavish upstate New York estate, after leaving her other lavish mansion in Beverly Hills.
